An ITG Student Wrote -

Just wanted to say the ITG® School was the best shooting school I have been to. The instructors and criteria were directly related to what we as Police Officers are faced with everyday.

Some of the class was centered around the dignitary protection. Even these portions were a benefit because it deals with an ambush and how to survive the ambush. It seems in todays policing ambushes to patrol officers are more common and a real threat to patrol officers.

The most valuable portions of the class was the use of cover and how a bullet reacts to glass. The actually shooting of vehicles and watching how a bullet reacts to both shooting into a vehicle and shooting out of a vehicle opened my eyes.

The use of a handgun and the use of a rifle both have there positives and negatives. For example our handgun bullet kept a straighter line of fire than our rifle did when fired into a car window. I did not how far up a bullet would travel up when skipped off say the hood of a car. If an officer was up close to the car it would probably hit the officer in the upper neck or face. Last but not least. The shooting techniques taught with both our handguns and rifles was invaluable. By the end of the day I was tired!

THE BEST SCHOOL I HAVE ATTENDED!
